Broken Garage Door Spring

The coils usually break and split the spring in two or three pieces. Before springs are removed, their tension must be unloaded. Broken Springs Require Immediate Replacement

Springs might break due to various reasons. If they are not maintained properly, their life cycle is completed or if the overhead door remains open during a storm, springs might break. They can also break if they are not handled properly or are the wrong choice for the existing garage door. If they break during repairs or when the door is moving, there is a high possibility that they will snap and fly in the garage. Otherwise, you will just observe the spring cut in two.
